Even though gunto needed the standard size and regulation, it was the owner's freedom to choose its blade, materials, color, parts, etc. (except tassel) Therefore, even though they look similar, the gunto is different from one to the other. They were manufactured from different companies using different materials and different techniques following different taste of owner.
